heldere robijnrode kleur met intense paarse reflecties.<br \/>\nHet aroma is fruitig en intens met een bouquet van rijp en gedroogd fruit, met tonen van pruimen.<br \/>\nDe smaak is vol, fluweelachtig en evenwichtig met een lange en omhullende afdronk.<\/p>\n<p>De ruim 50 jaar oude wijngaarden liggen in de binnenlanden van Puglia in de provincie Brindisi.<br \/>\nBodems met een zeer rode tint, rijk aan ijzeroxiden, liggend op kalksteenrots.<br \/>\nDe wind waait hier altijd en brengt de zeelucht in de wijngaarden.<br \/>\nWarme dagen en koude nachten geven de wijn een bijzondere complexiteit.<\/p>\n<p>De overrijpe druiven worden met de hand geplukt in de tweede helft van september en ontdaan van stelen.<br \/>\nZachte persing en maceratie van de druiven gebeurt bij gecontroleerde temperaturen.<br \/>\nRijping ongeveer 6 maanden.<\/p>\n<p>Deze wijn is heerlijk bij voorgerechten met een sterke smaak, gegrild vlees en oude
